Terms of use

Modolly is a browser-based 3D mockup editor. These terms describe use of the website, editor and platform assets. You must have authority to enter an agreement and use any content you import. Keep your account credentials secure and contact support@modolly.app if you suspect unauthorised account use.

Your projects and imported media are saved in your browser. Keep independent project backups: clearing site data, deleting an account, changing browsers or losing access to a device can prevent you from reopening work. Modolly cannot recover files that exist only on your device. Online access and applicable plan permissions are needed to load platform models.

Plan features, prices and billing periods are shown on the pricing and checkout pages. Subscriptions renew until cancelled through the billing portal. After paid access ends, features and protected assets may no longer be available, including when reopening an old project. Keep project backups and finished exports. See payment issues and refund requests for assistance.

Do not use the service to violate other people’s rights, distribute unlawful content, bypass access controls or interfere with service operation. Access may be restricted to address abuse, security incidents or payment problems. Contact support if you believe a restriction is incorrect.

Browser and hardware support affect rendering and export. We do not promise uninterrupted service or compatibility with every device. Nothing in these terms excludes rights, remedies or liabilities that applicable law does not allow to be excluded. Material changes to paid service terms will be communicated before taking effect where required; changes do not remove rights attached to an earlier purchase.

Your content and the asset licence

You retain ownership of your imported designs, pictures and recordings. You are responsible for having the necessary rights to use and publish them. Modolly does not acquire ownership of that content merely because you open it in the editor.

With the access provided by your plan, you may use Modolly’s platform assets inside the editor to produce rendered images and videos for personal and commercial projects, including client work. You may publish and deliver those finished renders. Plan-specific export limits and watermarks still apply.

The underlying models, textures, default artwork and template data remain the property of their respective rights holders. This permission does not allow extracting, reselling, redistributing or offering the source assets as a model library or competing asset service. A project backup references platform assets; it does not transfer an independent licence to their source files.

Device names, logos and trademarks belong to their respective owners. Their appearance in a mockup does not imply sponsorship, endorsement or affiliation. You remain responsible for the rights and claims in your finished work.

Privacy notice

The current editor keeps project settings, imported images and recordings, and thumbnails locally in your browser. They are not uploaded as part of ordinary editing or export. Older cloud projects, if you have them, may remain in the legacy service until migrated or deleted. If you deliberately send a file to support or use an integration, that action shares the information you choose to send.

Online account data includes your account identifier, email, authentication information and subscription status. If you use Google sign-in, we receive the account information provided by that sign-in flow, such as your name, email and profile picture. Stripe processes payment details; Modolly stores billing identifiers and subscription records, not full payment card numbers.

Our infrastructure receives technical information needed to deliver and protect the service, such as IP addresses, request details and authentication or asset-access logs. Limited operational events include export results, error categories and broad browser information. Support correspondence includes what you choose to send us.

When enabled, Google Analytics processes visit and device information to help us understand website traffic and navigation. Page paths are stripped of query strings and project IDs, and referral URLs are limited to their website origin. Analytics does not receive your imported media or project contents. We use this information to provide accounts and paid access, deliver platform assets, process billing, respond to support, prevent abuse and diagnose failures. Depending on the purpose and applicable law, processing is necessary to provide the requested service, meet legal obligations, protect legitimate service and security interests, or act on your consent.

Service providers include Supabase for accounts and business records, Cloudflare for hosting, asset delivery and support email forwarding, and Stripe for payments. Support email is handled through Google’s email service. Providers may process information in countries other than yours, subject to the safeguards required by applicable law.

We keep online account and service records for as long as needed for the account, support, security and legal obligations. Some billing and dispute records may need to remain after account deletion. Local projects stay on your device until you or your browser removes them; deleting an online account does not remotely erase browser files. Export backups before deleting an account.

Contact support@modolly.app to request access, correction or deletion of online personal information, or to ask about portability, objections or restrictions where applicable. We may need to verify account ownership. You may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
