Choose a laptop template

Filter Templates by Laptops and choose a MacBook scene. Begin with a Free scene or a Pro option that fits your presentation. Check the screen orientation before importing your design.

Capture the important part

Use a landscape screenshot or recording. Crop a long webpage to the feature you want to explain, then use screen fit to retain the full capture or crop to fill the display.

Set the angle and opening

Frame the screen so small interface text stays legible. Adjust supported lid and motion controls, preview the result and export the current view as PNG or the animation as MP4.

Give a dashboard enough space

Desktop interfaces often contain small type and several panels. Bring the camera closer, keep the screen nearly facing the viewer and avoid placing a full scrolling page inside one frame. A focused capture will communicate more clearly.

Use a lid reveal to introduce the product

The example shows a six-second opening that reveals the PRISM default wallpaper. Keep the most useful screen state visible after the lid opens. If the screen contains a recording, preview its timing together with the device movement.

Can I import a website URL?

Import a screenshot or screen recording of your website. Modolly maps that image or video onto the display; it does not load a live webpage from a URL.

Does the laptop demo need a video upload?

No. A static screenshot can appear on the screen while the device or camera animates. Use an MP4 recording only when you also want the interface itself to change.
