Why is my screenshot cropped in a mockup?
Crop fills the device screen and trims any part of your image that does not fit its proportions. Choose Fit in the Screen panel to keep the entire image visible; this can leave space around it.
Choose the right fit
Use Crop for a screenshot whose proportions already match the device. Use Fit for artwork or a capture that must remain complete. Stretch fills the display by changing the image proportions, so text and icons can become distorted.
Prepare a better capture
Capture the app at the target screen proportions when possible. Check the status bar, bottom navigation and camera cutout after import. Screen fitting changes content inside the device; camera zoom changes the device’s size in the overall composition.
Check the finished image
Inspect the screen at the size your audience will see. Export a small PNG first if you are unsure; increasing export resolution does not restore detail missing from the source screenshot.
